The Tai Tam advantage

Built for the
HKIS community

Named for the year HKIS first opened its doors, Club 66 brings structured, coach-led training to the campus where it started. Parents, faculty, alumni and students all train here — in the Fitness Centre, the Spin Room and the Functional Movement Room.

Every class is capped so the coaching is real. There is no joining fee and no lock-in: you buy credits, you book what suits your week, and you train.

The weekly timetable

Everything Club 66 runs, in one grid. Adult and staff classes are booked with credits through Glofox; student classes are allocated through the HKIS after-school activities programme.

Term 1 closures: 1–2 October (National Day & Professional Day) · 19–23 October (Fall Break) · 26–27 November (Professional Day & Thanksgiving) · 14 December – 1 January (Winter Break). Credits are only spent on classes you actually book, so closures cost you nothing.

Credits expire six months from purchase, so a pack comfortably covers Term 1 and rolls into Term 2.

Staff mobility is free

Monday's Build to Move session for HKIS staff costs nothing and uses no credits. Just turn up.

Students book elsewhere

Student classes are allocated through HKIS after-school activities, not through Glofox credits.

Questions

Before you book

Do I need to be fit to join?

No. Every class is built to be scaled, and your coach will adjust the loading and the movements to match where you are. The only real requirement is turning up.

Who can train here?

Club 66 is for the HKIS community — parents, faculty and staff, alumni and students. Adult classes are open to everyone in that community; a few sessions are set aside specifically for HKIS staff, and those are marked on the timetable.

How do I book a class?

Buy a credit pack through Glofox, then book individual classes in the same place — web portal or the Glofox app. Classes are capped, so booking ahead matters, especially for Spin.

What if I can't make a class I've booked?

Cancel in Glofox and the credit returns to your account. Please cancel early enough for someone on the waiting list to take the spot.

When don't classes run?

Club 66 follows the HKIS calendar. In Term 1 there are no classes on 1–2 October, 19–23 October (Fall Break), 26–27 November, or from 14 December to 1 January (Winter Break).

Can I try one class before buying a pack?

Yes — a drop-in is HK$225 for a single session. Email us and we'll get you into the class and invoice you afterwards.

What do I need to bring?

Training clothes, indoor trainers, a water bottle and a towel. All equipment is provided. For Spin, cycling shoes are optional but nice to have — the bikes take standard cages too.

My child wants to train — where do I sign them up?

Student classes are allocated through the HKIS after-school activities programme rather than through Glofox. See the student programmes page for what's running.
